
Short yes, but frothy
Macchiato is an espresso with a little frothed milk. It’s similar to a cappuccino but with a much stronger and more aromatic flavour.
Ingredients
- Frothed milk (enough to “stain” the espresso coffee)
- Espresso coffee
- Sugar and/or cocoa powder (according to preference)
Preparation
Put the milk froth directly into the cup. Pour the coffee from your espresso machine and dust it with the cocoa powder or sugar. It’s usually served in a cup (capacity of about 70 ml).
